Imam Al-Kadhum College was established in Baghdad and Maysan city according to the formal document of the Shiite Endowment Office No. 783 at 11/23/2004 to be a scientific and religious edifice and a starting point for the original Islamic thoughts. The parliament and Presidency Council Republic of Iraq approved the law No. (16) year 2009 issued by the Presidency Council on 8/11/2009 and published in the Iraqi Journal of Al-Waqi’a (The Gazette) in Issue (4133) on 8/17/2009. Depending on the mentioned law, the college has become an individual institution that financially and administratively independence in order to achieve the goals of college. It represented by the dean of the college or whoever will be authorized.
