In line with the directives of the Iraqi Council of Ministers to launch a campaign to plant five million trees and palm trees, the Administrative Services Department / Agricultural Division is implementing a large-scale afforestation campaign in the college gardens.

This campaign includes uprooting carob trees; due to the damage they cause to people’s health and the college’s infrastructure, in addition to planting other trees instead that are environmentally friendly, beautiful and suitable for the hot summer weather.

It is worth noting that this campaign contributes to increasing green spaces in the college corridors, and works to advance visual culture and achieve the requirements of a sustainable scientific environment
